Michelle Maldonado is a proven leader, trusted by her community to bring people together and get things done. A daughter of Cape Verdean immigrants and the first woman in her family to earn a law degree, Michelle’s life has been shaped by service, resilience, and a deep belief in equity.

 

From growing up with food and housing insecurity to becoming a tech attorney, small business owner, and now Delegate, Michelle brings lived experience and practical solutions to the General Assembly. She proudly represents one of Virginia’s most diverse districts and fights every day to uplift the dignity and well-being of all Virginians.
