The 76h Annual Greater Manassas Christmas Parade took place on December 3, 2022, with a theme of “Hometown Christmas: Past, Present, and Future.” The event draws on roughly 2,000 participants and more than 300 volunteers to make the parade a success. Del. Michelle Maldonado again took part in the parade, which lasts about two hours and takes place even in inclement weather.
“Come rain or shine, our community is always there,” Maldonado wrote after the event. “Thanks to everyone who came out in the rain and a big thanks to greater City organizers, our C.E.R.T. and other volunteers along with law enforcement who helped keep us organized and moving!”
Images from the event were captured by Mike Beaty, whose online galleries are available for viewing here and here.
